Why do Tidal Job Definitions update at different times then when the Convertor is scheduled to run in AAI?

Environment

Release : 6.4.4

Resolution

Tidal has periodic software updates throughout the day, there is a TidalConvertor logger that will show the job definition updates, you can see they run throughout the day.

 

For Autosys, CA7, and other schedulers, they should only update either at the time the converter was run or if some forces a Download Now of the scheduler.

 

The jaws.log will have a line like below is someone clicked "Download Now" for a scheduler.
