Issue/Introduction

Difference between multiple packages present under Endpoint Protection download portal.

Environment

All SEP releases

Resolution

All SEPM major release packages are segregated undertaking customer requirement and supportability.

 

Client Package

There are separate Windows 32/64-bit* and MAC SEP installation package.

"All_Client" package hold both i.e. Win and MAC.

Eventually all patches and updates for any given issues are compiled together to release in "Refresh" version.

Server Package

SEPM Installation package are either single or compiled with "All_Client" package i.e. Win and MAC installation package. This package is named with "Full_Installation"

Eventually all patches and updates for any given issues are compiled together to release in "Refresh" version.

There are separate import packages for any patch which is not released in above installation package.
