Issue/Introduction

There is a need to have different load libraries in the STEPLIB of the OSFTSP or OSFTSL servers.

Is it possible to start TSP or TSL servers with a different JCL procedure from the OPSOSF servers?

Environment

Release : 14.0

Resolution

All the OSF types of servers (TSO, TSL, and TSP) use the same JCL procedure given by the parameter OSFSTC. This is documented in the OSFSTC parameter description:

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-mainframe-software/automation/ca-ops-mvs-event-management-and-automation/14-0/reference-information/parameter-reference/parameters-for-facilities/osf-parameters.html#concept.dita_170ffc54c774cb78ecb1e992b38e6afbec696df8_OSFSTCParameter

OPS creates internally separate queues for each server type so that when you use ADDRESS OSF, ADDRESS OSFTSL, or ADDRESS OSFTSP it will be dispatching the command to the corresponding set of servers.

You can display the different servers using panel 4.3 and specifying the specific CLASS:

You can enter TSO, TSL, TSP, or USS in that field to see the corresponding servers.
