Symantec VIP Enterprise Gateway and Silverlight

Issue/Introduction
I found an old software running on the VIP gateway (v9.9.2) server. May I ask does VIP Gateway (9.9.2) require Silver Light?
When I looked at the System Requirements for VIP Gateway (9.9.2), I did not see Silver Light being mentioned there.
Environment
Release : Enterprise Gateway - 9.9.2
Resolution
SilverLight is a Microsoft product and not required by the Symantec VIP Enterprise gateway. This can be safely un-installed if not used by any other application on Gateway machine. Below is the requirements for the Gateway.
