HLP0-01 DSN NOT FOUND IN CATALOG

Issue/Introduction

When login into CA7 and issues:  HELP

put Y ==> INDEX:    (Y = INDEX OF ALL COMMANDS)

and get this error: 

HLP0-01 DSN NOT FOUND IN CATALOG

Does this mean dataset CAL2HELP isn't defined to CA7 started task? 

Environment

Release : 12.1

Resolution

Need to fo the following:

1.  Check to insure that the HELP DSN is allocated.

2.  If it is allocated, insure that its have not migrated or is in archive status.

3.  If you need to allocate it, it needs to be allocated to a volume that CA 7 has access to, so please check that in the event that you discover that the dsn is already allocated.

4. Starting in release 12.1, the INDEX member name change to CA7INDEX. Ensure the CAL2HELP data set defined in the CA 7 initialization deck as INDEX=255 is the r12.1 CAL2HELP data set and not a HELP data set from a previous release.
