Issue/Introduction

When upgrading to the 14.4 CP1/CP2 Identity Manager Server, customers experience confusion when using the Patch Deployer Tool.

Resolution

While running the Patch Deployer Tool, Make sure the deploy.patch.path property value points to the path where you downloaded the ‘patch to a temporary location as shown in the example below:

Note: Please do not use double quotes for the values.

As an alternative to providing this value here, you can also copy the CP content to the patch folder in PDT. The deploy.patch.path property always takes higher priory than the patch folder content.
