Issue/Introduction

The SSL certificate for Broadcom Login URL, will be updated on March 18, 2023 at 1500 UTC  via change number CHG1311654. The URL is used for authenticating Broadcom SaaS Clarity users who are configured as Single Sign on. 

Environment

All Broadcom Clarity SaaS customers using SSO (Single Sign On) for authentication.

Clarity SaaS customers who are not using SSO (Single Sign On) for authentication are not impacted with this change. 

Cause

The current SSL certificate for Broadcom Login URL will be updated on March 18, 2023 at 1500 UTC. The current certificate can be viewed by clicking on the padlock icon in the browser 

Resolution

• What is Broadcom doing and when 
  • March 18, 2023 at 1500 UTC Broadcom will be updating the SSL certificate for the Broadcom Login URL, via change number CHG1311654. With this SSL certificate update there will be no change to the certificate vendor (i.e. Digicert).
• Actions customers need to take before the change happens

  • Use the link to validate the root certificate. If your browser loads this page without warning, it trusts the new certificate

  • If the page doesn't load then customers needs to import the attached certificate in their proxy servers, browsers, email clients, VPN clients, mobile devices, operating systems, etc. else end users will see following message after authenticating on customer IDP login

• After the certificate is updated customers can also use  site for diagnosing access issues pertaining to connectivity if any or contact Broadcom support
