How to receive http header input into SiteMinder?

Issue/Introduction

Customer needs one of their applications to provide input to Siteminder via HTTP header variables during authentication.  Is there any way to do this aside from customizing FCC forms?

Resolution

FCC forms are the only out of the box way for Siteminder to consume header variables as input.  The next best way would be to create a custom authentication scheme.
