GEN PTF LU03408 Missing HOLD SYSTEM ACTION for ELEMENTs 'HELPMODL' and 'SAMPMODL'

Issue/Introduction

Reviewing the SMP/e 'ELEMENT SUMMARY REPORT FOR APPLY PROCESSING' specifically looking for the HOLD ACTION for these 3 'DATA' "ELEMENT TYPE"s: 
1. HELPMODL
2. LASC92A6
3. SAMPMODL

Found HOLD ACTION for data element type LASC92A6 which is a 'Reload the Schema tables' using CEJOB05.

Did not find any HOLD ACTION for these DATA ELEMENT TYPEs:
1. HELPMODL
2. SAMPMODL  

Please advise is GEN PTF LU03408 Missing HOLD SYSTEM ACTION for ELEMENTs 'HELPMODL' and 'SAMPMODL'?

Cause

The models appear in the ELEMENT SUMMARY REPORT FOR APPLY PROCESSING for PTF LU03408. Search of LU03408 HOLDDATA doesn't list any ACTION on what to do with HELPMODL and SAMPMODL models.  Since it is not clear why these models are present, there is concern. Unfortunately, after a PTF has been published one cannot add HOLDDATA.

Resolution

There is no HOLD ACTION because the HELPMODL and SAMPMODL models need to be re-converted only if Call REST statements are being added to them. Since the reload of the schema tables is "required", HOLD ACTION was added for reloading the schema tables, but is not necessary for the HELPMODL and SAMPMODL models. To reload the HELPMODL and SAMPMODL models or use them to add RESTful API calls, use jobs CEJOB12 and CEJOB13 and refer to Gen 8.6 Consuming REST APIs: Getting Started (broadcom.com)
