Upgrade APM 10.7 HF84 - Upgrade failed

Issue/Introduction

The upgrade stops at the beginning or at the middle with the below error:

[main] ERROR com.ca.fix.apm.hotfix.Hotfix - Error while executing the scenario
java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException: work/jetty-0.0.0.0-8081-WebContent-_apm-web-services-any-8275528417822846322.dir/jsp

The path can be different.

 

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Cause

This is a permission error when you copy a file from external URLs.

Resolution

1) Right-click into the Hotfix file, in this case, "APM10.7.0HF84.jar"
2) Check the unblock box with the message "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help to protect this computer."

3) Restart your IDE by closing all JAVA.EXE process into your task manager.
4) Run the installer again.
