Issue/Introduction

We have configured users that have the Operator license attached for access to the Network Configuration Manager.

After logging into OneClick and clicking on the Configuration Manager folder, these users are seeing the following error message:

"You do not have permission to set attribute ConfigStorageMode for this model"

Additionally, the user will not see the Device Family folder.

Environment

Release : Any
Component: OneClick

Cause

What is happening in this flow is when "Configuration Manager " is selected when logged in as Operator, it does a ModelWriteRequest check for attribute "0x820116 - ConfigStorageMode". The Operator license does not have write permission for this attribute so shows that message to the user. Only users with an Administrator license have access to write to this attribute.

Resolution

Add the Administrator license to the User/User Group.
