Job Error: Processing Import Integration Mappings.
Exception while import integration mappings for Rally Integration
Org.apache.http.client.ClientProtocolException: Unexpected response status: 403

Environment

Release : 16.1.0

Resolution

Review Splunk logs for 403s and co-relate messages during time that the Clarity Import Integration Mapping job run making the schema requests in Rally.

Items for review:

  • The Subscription Admin/User related to initial setup of Clarity/Rally Integration API Key (check for any hits from this User ID and subscription ID).
  • To access the Rally Application Manager, login with your Rally username and password at the following URL: https://rally1.rallydev.com/login
  • Once you identify the subscription Admin/User, review Integration API Key and and ensure you are using valid Rally API Key.

Update Clarity Integration settings: Clarity > Administration > General Settings > Integration API Key:

Integration Rally API Key - The key that is used to access and retrieve data from Rally

- Rally API Key does not expire
- Rally API Keys obey the permissions of the user that generated them—like using that user’s credentials. Keys are valid as long as the user desires, and can be deleted or reset at any time
- Rally API keys will not authenticate if the username or password has expired
