Unable to access a Ca View database and list options with SARINIT

Issue/Introduction

Have an old database that has been secured but do not know who has MASTER ACCESS to the database .

Tried running SARINIT to display current options but that ends with the following errors  : - 

SARINI19  Job/User not authorized to access data base
SARINI20  Processing terminated due to previous errors

Release : 14.0

SARATHUX exit is installed

Resolution

The SARATHUX exit determines whether a specified job is authorized to perform high-level database functions.
When you use the SARATHUX exit, View passes the request type and request data that requires authorization to the exit.
SARATHUX returns a return code to the caller that indicates the authorization condition. The standard exit that is supplied
with the product authorizes all jobs to perform all functions.

In this case the exit was setting a RC=08 which means a call is made to CA View external security to determine database access ,there was no DBAS rule defined in external security to allow user access to the database

External security will be updated to allow user access.
