Can we clear out /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_verticaXX to recover some space?

Issue/Introduction

We are running low on space in the /opt directory, can I remove /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_verticaXX without affecting the production data repository node operation?

Environment

All supported Performance Management releases

Resolution

You may delete the directory under /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica* after the installation is completed, but be aware that you will not be able to run the uninstall or various utilities if needed.  It is recommended to only keep the most recently successfully installed directory.
