Why Do I see Task ended by User *UNKNWN*

Issue/Introduction

When stopping Dispatch subtasks why do I see a userid of *UNKNWN* in the Dispatch log?

Resolution

This is not a problem. If you check your Dispatch log you will probably see that the system is being closed down by a user issuing a STOPCADS command from the master console - ie replying to the Outstanding WTO - without being signed onto Dispatch first of all - hence the *UNKNWN* user.
