How can I send the OPS/MVS SYSCHK1 dataset to Customer Support?

 

 

Follow these steps: 

1. IDCAMS REPRO your SYSCHK1 dataset to a sequential dataset with the following DCB information:
   
   RECFM = FB
   LRECL = 4096
   BLKSIZE = 0
   
   
2. Using the dataset created in the first step, you will now do a TSO TRANSMIT to create a sequential flat file as follows:
   
   XMIT nodename.userid DA('dataset.created.on.step1') OUTDA('ops.flat.syschk1') SEQ
   
   
3. FTP the new 'ops.flat.syschk1' dataset in BINARY format.
