DX APM - DataPower Infrastructure agent reporting Certificate Errors - "unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

Issue/Introduction

Installed APM Infrastructure agent 2022.11

Getting errors:

[ERROR] [IntroscopeAgent.InfrastructureAgent] Failed in SoapClient execute with error:PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Any advise on how to bypass these errors?

Environment

APM SaaS Agents 22.11 

Cause

On a data power device by default below 2 interface port are configured:

 

Default XML Management interface Port is : 5550

Default Rest Management Interface Port is : 5554

 

In 22.3 (10.8 agents) Default Rest Management interface is used 

In latest agent 22.11 version we are using XML management interface

 

 

 

 

 

 

Resolution

Make sure the port configured for "introscope.agent.datapower.profiles.<dp>.url" is of XML management interface.

Workaround: use 22.3 version (10.8 agents version)
