Field value not converting from idea to project

Issue/Introduction

I created a Boolean field on the Investment Object. I created an Idea, populated the field, then converted the Idea to a Project.

- When I convert to a project without using a template, the value transfers onto the project.

- When I convert to a project using a template, the value does not transfer to the project.

We need the value to transfer when converting using a project template.

Environment

Release : 16.0.2

Cause

ERROR PRJ-07539: Project cannot be set inactive because it is enabled for financials.

The Copy from Template operation failed to complete successfully. The project has not been fully realized based on the template.

Resolution

Idea which user was trying to convert was inactive causing The Copy from Template operation failed to complete successfully and for that reason attribute copy was also not completing.

When user attempted to convert Active idea attribute value was getting properly converted as well.
