CA Service Management - Service Desk Manager

Issue/Introduction

We have Upgraded the current standby server from windows os2012 r2 to 2016 
After upgrading unable to Start SDM service on server
As work around we reverted the OS to 2012 only 
but we need solution

no error written to SDM \log folder files but in the Windows event viewer there is a system error saying CA Service Desk Manager Service is not a valid Win32 application

Environment

Release : 17.3

Resolution

Run pdm_configure as system administrator to reset the user rights and privileges and reset the SDM registration to the Windows.
