Issue/Introduction

Question:  Why are my paths showing in a down or failed state, yet the continue to show delivery / experience metrics and collect data.

 

While using AppNeta, you may come across an issue where Network Path's show up in a Down / Failed / Not Connected state but data is still collecting and processing without issue when you click into the actual path data shows up just fine.

Environment

Release : 16.1

Resolution

This is a false positive. The Engineering team is working to prevent this from happening. 

1. Select the Network Path of issue and click the "Action" button to expand the options and click "Disable Monitoring":

2. Right after you can select the same Network Path, click "Action", and click "Enable Monitoring":

Within 5 minutes, the Network Path should show up as Connected again.

If this issue continues to occur, you may wish to open a ticket with the Support team to review the behaviour seen.
