Issue/Introduction
The customer is seeing under the "Cloud-enabled Management Agent IIS Website Settings" policy (Settings>Notification Server>Cloud-enabled Management) that is showing "Configuration task is in progress, please wait" (and this warning doesn't go away with service restarts or server reboots)
Environment
ITMS 8.5, 8.6
Cause
This is related to the core setting "AgentSiteConfigurationTaskGuid" that was not removed due to some glitch after site creation and now the page assumes that the site is still under construction.
Resolution
Just remove it from core settings manually:
Go to "C:\ProgramData\Symantec\SMP\Settings" and open CoreSettings.config (you can open it by running Notepad as administrator so later you can save the changes without complaining about permissions). Note: Make a copy of the file just in case.
Then find the line that has "AgentSiteConfigurationTaskGuid" setting on it. If you see it, just delete the whole line and save the file.
After that, restart the Altiris Service and check the page again and see if the message is still there.
