Issue/Introduction

web.whatsapp.com is reachable --> QR code appears --> after scanning the QR code phone could not connect, and the WhatsApp web portal isn't loading.

Resolution

"As the recent changes that were made by Whatsapp earlier this year now rely on features that are only present after Chromium version 80, (Web isolation 1.14 and 1.15) both are using Chromium 73. There are two options: the customer can either upgrade to 1.15 now and wait for 1.16 to be released later this year for on-premise customers, or they can procure a cloud tenant which will have 1.16 by default. 1.16 version of Web Isolation is using Chromium 81.
