Automatic enable "track failed logins" when setting options in AdminUI

Issue/Introduction

 

In AdminUI, about the "track failed logins" check box, nothing warns about the need of checking the "track failed logins" and "track successful logins" when configuring other options that require these settings.

Why should "track failed logins" be enabled for the "Account to be disabled after [x] successive incorrect password" to work?

Shouldn't be automatically enabled "tracking the failed logins" when configuring "Account to be disabled after [5] successive incorrect password"?

When configuring the "password expires after x days" options, automatic choices around the "track failed logins" and "track successful logins" options should be set for this to work properly in the AdminUI.

 

Resolution

 

Upgrade AdminUI to 12.8SP8 when this one will be available to benefit from fixing DE551430.
