TDM: Adding AD Groups to a project group in CA Web Portal appears to be limited by the UI and not gtrep tables?

Issue/Introduction

When adding LDAP/AD groups to a CA TDM project  project group from the LDAP Server,  it appears to limit the number of groups based upon UI configuration. If we add to a group using the API once we meet the UI layer limitation:

1) Will it add the extra group without affecting existing LDAP groups added to the CA TDM project group?

2) Will it widen the display so that the additional LDAP Groups are visible?
