Issue/Introduction

 Does SYSVIEW have a user exit or modification is available to capture COBOL online transaction program names similar to the Natural user exit GSVCNATX?

Resolution

Sysview does support COBOL as part of the CICS Monitor Exit Interface; sample members on using this interface can be found in the following parmlib dataset:

 CNM4BSAM   | GSVCMEIC
              MEISAMPC

Based on this information, users need to add calls to their MEI within the CICS transaction program code to provide the COBOL program names, using the "Record Non-CICS Program Usage" call, found on the above-linked page.
