How would Spectrum handle following scenario:?

A device is put into maintenance and it has multiple BGP sessions configured.

If the BGP peer went down on the adjacent device (Interface is connected to device in maintenance), would the BGP Peer Down alarm be suppressed?

Release : 21.2

We have tested this scenario and explain the expected behavior as follows:

Out of the box , we don't suppress the BGP peer down alarm.  Even for creating  BGP peer policy, the IP address in the events will be of peer IP address.

The BGP alarm is a polled alarm on the device that is not in maintenance. It is based on information read from the mib.
