Symantec Management Agent service will not start on a Package Server

Issue/Introduction

The Symantec Management Agent service was not started on a Package Server.

Tried to start it manually and the following error was returned:

"Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified." 

Rebooted server and there was no change.  Confirmed that Program Files were present, and also tried to start the service from the command line using AexAgentUtil.exe /start, but this did nothing. 

Environment

ITMS 8.6

Cause

Found that the AeXNSAgent.exe was missing from the Altiris Agent folder.

Resolution

Copied the AeXNSAgent.exe from another managed computer at the same agent version to the Package Server and now the service starts.
