How is data published into DXOI with Spectrum Data Publisher

Issue/Introduction

When the Spectrum Data Publisher has started for the first time and all Models and Alarms are published into DXOI how is the Publisher publishing new Models and Alarms into DXOI ? Is this through webservices ? We are asking this question because depending on the Spectrum Environment the amount of Models and Alarms can be high.

Spectrum Data Publisher with DXOI

Resolution

The Spectrum Data Publisher uses REST API to gather Models and Alarms from Spectrum and send them to DXOI.

As this process can be resource intensive we recommend to use a standalone OneClick for REST and other integrations with minimum of 16gb of tomcat memory.
