Issue/Introduction

Customer wanted to know if the cisco_ucs probe can be used to monitor vBrick devices.

Resolution

The cisco_ucs probe is meant for cisco UCS devices and does not support monitoring of vBrick. 

The snmptd probe can be used to monitor vBrick devices but you need the vBrick MIB for traps. You will need to know the correct model(s) and download the appropriate MIBs.
