'Logon Failure - ADAM User' error in CCS

The following error is being reported by CCS:

Logon Failure - ADAM User 



Release: CCS 12.6.x


A username/password combo that is saved in CCS is incorrect.


Possible Resolutions:

  1. There are scheduled jobs failing due to an expired password for the user that scheduled those jobs.

    To update the password for the user for scheduled jobs, log on with the user that will run the scheduled job and then open the CCS console go to Admin and then select Scheduled Job Management.  In the Scheduled Job Management section, select the bullet 'Store Password With CCS' and enter the new password (and a second time to confirm) and click Save.

  2. Also, there is a user set for CSV file import that appears to be incorrect or is also using an expired password.

    In the CCS Console go to Settings -> Deployment View, and on the Application Server icon right-click and select Edit Settings.  Under the Data Collector Sites section in the left column, select CSV and verify that user name and password are current in the User Name column
