Rally: I want to export Defects along with Features and User stories in Custom list with a deep export app.

Issue/Introduction

We are not able to export defects along with features and user stories in a Custom List With Deep Export app.

Could you please assist us with any other app from which we could export features, user stories and defects with relationship ? 

Cause

The Custom List With Deep Export app that is found in the App Catalog is not able to export Portfolio Items and all children.

 

Resolution

There is another version of this app that will allow you to export Portfolio Items and all of its children.

1. Add the Custom HTML app to your dashboard.
2. Copy the code from this URL:  Custom List With Deep Export
3. Paste the code into the Custom HTML app.
4. In the App settings, select Features or your desired Portfolio Item.
5. Use the export option to "Export Portfolio Items and Child Items"

This app is not supported by Rally but is free to use and modify for your own purposes.
