Issue/Introduction

Is Trusted Access Manager for z/OS PTF LU07282 specific to RACF? It appears to have followed LU07171 & might be related to this RACF specific PTF.

Resolution

The problem LU07282 addresses was discovered during the LOGSTR/LOGSTRX development processes when when trying to break TAMRCSV. The fix does not just apply to TAMz for RACF.  The bug was in an existing function which doubles apostrophes in strings for output.

It is unlikely that a site would run into this problem, unless you used apostrophes in free form text phrases made available to the ESM or TAMR.
