Issue/Introduction

Failed to deploy ntevl probe for some Windows Server 2016

 

Environment

Any UIM/probe release

Resolution

After check all the details with the supported OS , packages and distsrv we found no issues.

We have installed the required packages:

vs2017_vcredist_x64
vs2017_vcredist_x86

Finally when we use the AdminConsole to deploy the ntevl probe it worked fine to all remaining servers.

Explained that IM have no updates since last 5 years and requested to for this particular behavior to deploy ntevl to use AC not IM
