Issue/Introduction

Can Opera and OPS/MVS coexist on the same z/OS system?. Will be replacing Opera with OPS/MVS.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Resolution

Both OPS/MVS and Opera products can run in parallel and enable/disable rules in either product as a cut over from Opera to OPS/MVS. Both products do not have an active interface but can co-exist.

Opera will no longer be enhanced and maintenance and technical support will be discontinued effective July 31, 2024.
