Is there a way to install AutoSys without specifying/configuring a DB

Issue/Introduction

As part of a regulatory requirement we are required to recover Autosys from scratch/bare metal. All our Autosys LAB DBs are currently at v12.0.01.03 (R12 SP1 CUM3). I believe R12.0 SP1 can not be installed/laid down if the instance is pointed at a DB which is a newer version. Is there any way to fool the installer (install.bin) into installing 12.0 SP1 against a 12.0.01.03 DB before patching to CUM3? Alternatively is there a way to install Autosys without specifying/configuring a DB?
