Bad GateWay Error in Jaspersoft Studio

Issue/Introduction

When running the query in the Jaspersoft report studio we are intermittently getting a Bad Gateway error for fetching the data:

Environment

Release : Any

Resolution

Refresh the datasource connection and restart Studio, then try again :

    1. Open the Adapter
    2. Make sure Classspath is correct
    3. Click Test button

    4. Restart Jaspersoft Studio
    5. This should normally address the problem - as adapter is slower than a regular connection

Additional Information

Note: this error may happen also if your query isn't optimized. Ensure you tune the queries, remove all joins that are unnecessary and make it as fast as possible. This will avoid this issue from happening
