EEM Integration with LDAP User Rights

Issue/Introduction

When integrating EEM with LDAP, does the USER DN (CN) need to have any special LDAP permissions, like being a LDAP Administrator?

Environment

Embedded Entitlement Manager (EEM) 12.x

All Supported Operating Systems

Resolution

The USERID used to integration EEM with LDAP just needs read access and the ability to query LDAP.  

The USERID does not need to be an LDAP administrator or require any special LDAP access.

Additional Information

The EEM-LDAP integration is read-only. You cannot perform insert, modify, or delete operations in LDAP via the EEM integration.
