VMWare vRealize Operations Cloud alerts in Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

vRealize Operations (vROPs) on prem can send alerts to Spectrum via snmp traps to an EventAdmin model. 

However, can Spectrum handle vROPs using the cloud implementation where the IP and hostname change frequently?

Environment

Release : 22.2

Resolution

Spectrum cannot handle traps from devices where IP changes, or the hostname.

However, utilizing TrapX the trap could be filtered and altered in a way to always forward the trap to the same IP assigned to an EventAdmin model.
