Product: Control Compliance Suite (CCS)
When trying to start the Application Server Service, it will not start with the following error:
Windows could not start the Symantec Application Server Service service on Local Computer
Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.
If you are using the Ansible scripts for installing/upgrading CCS 12.6.x, this issue might have an error similar to the following:
Start CCS Application server service with following message ("msg": "Service 'Symantec Application Server Service (AppserverService)' cannot be started due to the following error: Cannot start service AppserverService on computer '.'.",)
Release : CCS 12.5.x and CCS 12.6.x
The CCS Service account requires that it has the 'Log on as a Service' and also 'Log on as a Batch' permission to function properly. Add those permissions and the Application Server Service should start correctly.
