Issue/Introduction

When viewing a report in the IT Analytics (ITA) console, no values are returned despite selecting a valid date range or other parameters that are expected to return results. The cube processing job for the associated report is failing and logging the following error in the SQL Server Agent job history:

Release : 2.9.1

Cause

The measure group database files are corrupted or missing from the filesystem on the server hosting SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and the ITAnalytics cubes.

Resolution

To restore the damaged or missing measure groups, follow this procedure:

1. Open the IT Analytics console
2. Navigate to Admin > Settings > Cubes Installation
3. Select the affected cube(s) and click Uninstall
4. After the uninstall process completes, select the cubes from the list of available cubes to install and select Install
5. After the installation process completes, run the processing job(s) for the cube(s)
