Resolution

Not all OpenShift operators may allow use of NGINX Ingress Controller as a globally deployed shared service, requiring apps to use the standard OpenShift Ingress Controller.

As VIP AuthHub requires NGINX Ingress Controller, a suitable workaround deploys a local NGINX Ingress Controller in the AH namespace. The attached tech note covers this, also explaining the reason for a very restricted SCC being necessary.
