Issue/Introduction

How can a site utilize these status displays or SHOW commands to verify that ACF2 CPF with ENF/CCI/CCS is functioning properly?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Resolution

From the ACF2 prospective, the best method to determine if ENF CCS/CCI is functioning with CPF would be to do the following.

  1. Issue console command: F ENF,STATUS
Verify that CCI is active 'CAS9626I - CAICCI Subsystem is operational'
  2. Issue the TSO, ACF, SHOW CPF command on each system.
    Verify 'CURRENT STATUS: ACTIVE'
Review the -- NODE STATISTICS -- which will show each node defined to CPF and the stats for Inbound and Outbound requests for each node.
  3. If using the ACF2 CPF optional Journal files the files can be reviewed to see the log commands that are transmitted to and responses that are received from each of the remote nodes. CPF journal processing is used to record all requests that are processed by CPF.
