“Invalid file” message when uploading SCRT

Issue/Introduction

I’m getting this “Invalid file” message when uploading the SCRT report.

 

Environment

ISV SCRT Reporting

Cause

After opening file on desktop, the original filetype was changed on SAVE process

Resolution

• Do not alter the original file type.
• Do not edit the report in any other program.

For example, do not edit the report in a spreadsheet program and then export it. Doing so modifies the report format, even when you export it to CSV or TXT format. The report fails validation when you submit it. Also, only edit the “(required)” fields. If you edit anything else, the report fails validation.
