oom-killer messages and server goes offline with Security Analytics 8.2.6

Issue/Introduction

The server goes offline. It responds to pings, but users can't ssh to it. This happens repeatedly over several days.

Errors like "ps invoked oom-killer" were seen in /var/log/messages. This started happening in the 8.2.6 release and is fixed in the 8.2.7 release as well as nsr-2 for 8.2.6.

Environment

Release : 8.2.6-55530

This is the only release where the problem is seen.

Cause

There was a bug in the tonicd process which processes files for providers.

Resolution

NSR-2 for 8.2.6 fixes the problem.  It is available here:  https://license.soleranetworks.com/upgrades/NSR826-2

Your 16-digit license key can be used for the username and the password.
