"CA Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS" Removing Components

• DATABASE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR DB2 FOR Z/OS

Issue/Introduction

If some parts of the "CA Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS" are not needed anymore,

such as RC Secure, Fast Unload, Bind Analyzer etc.

Is it possible to remove those products independently leaving the others installed?

Release : 20.0

Resolution

There is no specific way having installed the products to just un-install a selection of the products. 

Removing the keys for the products not needed is an option, but the products could still be used but warnings would be issued. 

The easiest option would be to decide on the products still needed and do a re-install of those products only
