Issue/Introduction

Citrix is not working when Endpoint Protection Firewall is enabled.

Unable to connect to citrix url and download the binary file which connect to Citrix server .

Environment

Symantec Endpoint Protection : 14.3 RU6

Cause

SEP firewall is blocking the traffic. By default SEP Firewall doesn't block IPV6 traffic.

Resolution

Solution 1:

Uncheck the IPv6 Ethernet Protocol=0x86dd 

Solution 2:

 Create the rule above the 'Block Ipv6' rule to allow only 443 Traffic for a particular application like wfica32.exe and WebHelper.exe.
