How do disable the alarm for Authentication Failure Trap Received in Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

We are receiving an alarm titled  'Authentication Failure Trap Received' with minor severity.

We do not require such alarm and need to delete this alarm permanently.

How can this be done?

 

Environment

Release : 21.2

Cause

Out of the box the Authentication Failure traps are configured to alarm.

Resolution

Disable the alarm using Event Configuration Editor for events 0x1030a and 0x10017

Launch Event Configuration:

Search for event 0x1030a and change the Severity from Minor to None:

Do the same thing for event 0x10017:

 

Click the Save icon and press yes when it asks you to reload.
