Remove task with transactions posted

Issue/Introduction

How can I remove a task that has got transaction actuals posted? Is there a way to delete a task that has got posted transactions or WIP adjustments on the system?

Cause

Transaction data needs to be purged before the task can be deleted

Resolution

Set the project financial status to Closed for the project which task needs to be deleted

Run the Purge Financial Tables job with the specific project reference

Once the transactions are purged, the task can be deleted
