Replication fails to partner - The SQL Server Express Database available space left is less than 512 MB

Issue/Introduction

Partner Database is stating that "The SQL Server Express Database available space left is less than 512 MB." Attempted to correct this by logging into SQL Management Studio but am unsure what to do.

 

Environment

Release : 14.3 RU5

Cause

SCM-SERVER-0.log

2022-12-28 08:35:25.456 THREAD 40 SEVERE: The SQL Server Express database available space left is less than 512 MB. You may need to remove data from the database.
2022-12-28 08:35:25.456 THREAD 40 SEVERE: Database free space below critical, Updating server health
2022-12-28 08:35:25.472 THREAD 57 SEVERE: The SQL Server Express database available space left is less than 512 MB. You may need to remove data from the database.
2022-12-28 08:35:25.644 THREAD 40 SEVERE: Stop ClientTransport.
2022-12-28 08:35:25.644 THREAD 40 SEVERE: There is not enough database space, Stopping Client Transportion, stopping task to collect logs.
2022-12-28 08:35:48.888 THREAD 40 SEVERE: Stop ClientTransport.

Resolution

- Decrease the number of days that logs are collected
- Restart the Management Server Upgrade Wizard
- Enabling FILESTREAM for the Microsoft SQL Server database (if it is not enabled)
- Maintaining the Database
