Issue/Introduction

The data_engine probe is not connecting to the database.

The log shows error 0x80004005 - Logon failed due to trigger execution.

Environment

Release : 20.4

Resolution

This error is not related to UIM but is a problem on the database server.  Specifically, someone has likely created a logon trigger which is failing for some reason.

Your DBA will need to investigate the source of the logon trigger and remove or correct it.
